Description
In the 6th edition of the textbook Physics for High Schools – Mechanical Oscillations and Waves, a standalone computer application Test Tasks has been newly included among the electronic teaching materials. It contains 25 tasks of varying difficulty that can be arranged in different ways into a test set. After solving it, the user is informed of the overall result and success rate. The CD also includes supplementary material, theoretical and laboratory exercises, historical notes, a glossary of terms, and more than 20 interactive animations related to oscillations and waves. To provide a clearer understanding of the processes that occur during oscillation, simulation models of oscillator oscillations in MS Excel and OpenOffice Calc are also included on the CD. Simple models are prepared in versions for the mentioned programs and form a basis that the user can further work with according to their own judgment and interest.
