Description

The publication, consisting of 64 pages in A4 format, focuses on solving and modeling selected basic problems (e.g., the true size of a shape, the intersection of a line with a plane...). Each problem is accompanied by a detailed general analysis and a stereometric solution. The problems are presented using coordinates, and their solutions are displayed in Monge's projection and in dimensioned projection. For each problem, easily assembleable (and conversely disassembleable) paper models are prepared. The collection is complemented by a perspective illusion of three-dimensional objects on the walls of a cuboid and an illusion on a cylindrical surface. The publication is suitable for all beginners as a supplement to textbooks on descriptive geometry. It helps to create correct ideas about the principles of both projection methods (grouping projections, tilting, rotating, "covering line", ...). From the pages with cut-outs, students can assemble their own models. They insert the disassembled models into their notebooks and return to them until the paper model is replaced by correct ideas of the concept and relationship. CONTENT: 1 Line, segment, deviation of a line from the projection 2 Plane, trace of a plane, main and slope lines of a plane 3 Intersection of two planes 4 Deviation of a plane from the projection, rotation of a point 5 True size of a triangle, rotation...
