Description
The first part of the three-part textbook is intended for two-year and three-year programs, with the material that the three-year programs have in addition graphically highlighted for easy orientation. The first part of the textbook focuses on the application and deepening of knowledge from elementary school. Emphasis is placed on the practical use of acquired knowledge and an appropriate level of numerical fluency. Great attention is given to working with calculators. At the end of each chapter, there is a summary review and a control test. The textbook contains a rich set of example materials, with approximately 500 examples intended for practice, and in addition, it presents 150 problems that are solved in detail. The second revised edition includes an article on Congruent Representations.
