Description
I have a treasure at home. I inherited it from my dad, and it takes up just a little space in a drawer. It is 98 illustrated pages of Letters from Josef Váchal to certain lighthearted young men from Brno, known as KAbrňáci. One of those KAbrňáci was my dad, Ladislav Libor Loubal. At the beginning of 1947, a diligent correspondence began between my dad and the graphic artist Josef Váchal. As I was transcribing Váchal's letters, the thought of providing a unique experience for other readers grew more urgent within me. There was only one way to realize this idea: the Paseka publishing house and its owner, Mr. Ladislav Horáček. Only there would my treasure receive a dignified and kind welcome. Therefore, dear and beloved lovers of graphics...
