Description
The textbook describes the significance and classification of mechanics, laws of motion, physical quantities, discusses the tasks of statics and its basic concepts, explains planar systems of forces both with a common point of action and those not passing through a single point, spatial systems of forces, and rod systems. It shows how to determine the center of gravity of various surfaces, establish conditions for the stability of bodies, and statically solve simple mechanisms with passive resistances as well as resistances during rolling.
