The introductory part is dedicated to technology, architecture, discoveries, and inventions, and is supplemented with illustrated timelines. The map section contains a brief characterization of the given period, working questions for students' independent work, and illustrative multicolored maps complemented by colored illustrations of objects, architecture, art, and ways of life in the given historical period.
