The notebook atlas for elementary schools and multi-year gymnasiums is the first in a comprehensive series of historical atlases. It presents the historical development during the prehistoric and ancient periods, from the beginnings of the human species to the fall of Rome. Each chapter begins with a textual section that recalls the most important events of the given time period. The map section contains a brief characterization of individual periods, working questions for students' independent work, and illustrative multicolored maps supplemented with colorful illustrations of architecture, art, and ways of life.
