Description
When a headless body is found in a large anthill above a village in Jämtland, Olivia Rönningová joins the investigators in Strömsund to help with the case. The victim’s fingerprints do not appear in any official register, and no one has been reported missing in the area for more than twenty years. Near an old cult site, forensic technicians discover traces of blood. Fear spreads through the village, and no one dares to enter the forest, even in daylight. Although the village was once almost deserted, it has filled again over recent decades with new residents, nature conservationists, people from Stockholm and Dutch settlers. The locals have accepted outsiders and eccentrics, while the Bolunds, a neo-Nazi family, have kept to themselves. The good relations in the village are suddenly threatened as residents refuse to cooperate and become increasingly reluctant to answer Olivia’s questions. To solve the mystery, she ultimately calls on Tom Stilton and Mette Olsäterová for help. The contents are in Slovak.
