Description
This Slovak-language novel follows Amanda Delanoová, a fragile beauty approaching forty who finds happiness running an elegant contemporary art gallery in Paris. She shares her life with her dog Lulu and her cheerful friend and gallery co-owner Pascal Leblanc, but the love of her life has so far eluded her. Then she meets the charismatic publisher Olivier Saint Albin while growing closer to her former classmate Tom Quinlan, who has come to Paris to write his new novel. Amanda falls instantly in love with Olivier, only to discover that he is married, leaving her torn by inner conflict. Her situation becomes even more complicated when she begins to feel that someone is watching her. After receiving threatening phone calls and finding that someone has broken into her apartment, it is clear that she is in real danger, but from whom: an old acquaintance, a new partner or an unknown attacker? As love enters her life, danger follows.
