Tajomný závoj – Dán Dominik (2022)

Some of the dark sides of the new democratic regime - drugs and prostitution - did not take long to manifest, appearing shortly after the revolution. The boys from the homicide department encountered them regularly even before, but in a less drastic form. Today they were not lucky; the murderer was active, showing no mercy to either them or her - a young street prostitute was stabbed, slashed, and her corpse arranged as if it were displayed on a bier. But was she really slashed? Did he really display her to leave them some kind of message? Is he toying with them? The detectives have no idea yet whether they are reading the clues at the crime scene correctly or if they are missing the most important pieces of the puzzle. They don't have much time, especially since an old acquaintance - a composer - crosses their path in a peculiar way right at the beginning of the investigation. He commits suicide. In one day, two cases connected by a strange thread, unusual clues. They still don't know if they have overlooked something important. Is everything as they see with their own eyes, or are both seemingly unrelated cases shrouded in a mysterious veil? One thing is clear, if they do not uncover the secret hidden behind the curtain, if they do not change their perspective, the mystery will never be solved.
