Marek Wolf finds himself in the midst of a complicated investigation that intrudes into his personal life more than he would like. His close colleague and collaborator Adam Vanek is missing, and Adam's kidnapper threatens Wolf with the revelation of his darkest secrets. Marek's unorthodox methods and dark past put him in a dangerous position. He must deal with unexpected betrayal and threats, but gradually uncovers intricate secrets and realizes he faces an almost unsolvable choice: save Vanek or save his own skin? Lieutenant Karol Lupták faces the greatest challenge of his career when he is called to a grotesque crime scene in the middle of the night. In the forest park at Železná studnička, they discover a victim with a bag over their head, arranged by the murderer as if they were simply enjoying a picnic in nature. With the support of Captain Bernát, Lupták gets to work and soon realizes that in this latest case, nothing is as it seems at first glance. Just when he feels he is on the trail of the perpetrator, another girl goes missing in Bratislava, and the police find themselves in a race against time.
