Skúšky – Keleová-Vasilková Táňa (2021)

In the story, I capture the fates of five families against the backdrop of current events. I do not shy away from the coronavirus pandemic, which has changed many things. You might think that I shouldn't, as we are all fed up with it. But we live it, and I have been capturing our real life in my stories for years. What is essential in my story is everything that paves the way for our days, regardless of whether the coronavirus exists or not. Love and unlove, problems and non-problems, happiness and unhappiness... In times when people are influenced by the pandemic, restrictions, and endless changes, everything is much harder and more complicated. How will my heroes cope with the changes? Will they manage? Will they accept them or not? And what will it do to their relationships? They are all subjected to trials they did not sign up for and did not want. I wrote the book exceptionally at the cottage, during a time when the world was closed, and our family lived everything that other families did. Yet despite the sudden changes, I knew I wanted to, I had to write: and so I got to it. I believe you will enjoy the book and that you will spend pleasant moments with it. P.S. The road on the cover? An empty road seemed the most fitting to me. After all, the world fell silent, we had to sit at home, and everywhere was emptiness...
