Description
The orphan Draha is a fragile girl who, despite the hostility of her new family, is kept alive by courage and her yet unexplored healing abilities. In her search for herself, she is accompanied by a wise teacher and a mysterious stranger, whom she accidentally discovers, weak and emaciated, in the woods. The story of the Slavs is set in a historical period when the borders of current states did not yet exist. Daily life was accompanied by forgotten rituals and the fascinating mystique of a religion tied to the wild nature, dark forests, inaccessible passes, and caves. People in our territory, like the heroes of the novel, had to learn to decide their own fate. Their enemies could be not only the barbaric Avars but also tyrants from neighboring fortresses. However, tribes needed strong leadership, and who would not reach for power when it lies at their feet?
