The string-rock band The Ridders has lost their drummer and friend Robin. Can Martin Tornig, the alcohol-dependent guitarist and the brain of the band, cope with this loss, or is it the definitive end for the band?

In his mind, the musician retreats to his childhood, where he, along with his perpetually flighty friend Patrik, discovered music on his grandfather's farm, but also to the time when the mentally ill Robin was still alive. However, alcohol prevents him from actively fighting for his long-time love Laura, without whom he cannot imagine his life. However, the carefree and naive world of his niece Dvika helps him, for whom he tries to be a better person and who feels safest with him despite his unstable nature.

Martin must decide which path to take and how his decision will affect all his loved ones. What will happen when his bohemian life crosses paths with Robin's former friend Erik and the always smiling and loving guitar phenomenon Valter Valter? It is his wife and music editor Denisa who knows not only the story of The Ridders but also the private lives of its members in the most intimate details.
