Description
For his third collection of short stories, Czech horror author Honza Vojtíšek transforms into Doctor Frankenstein, inviting writers from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland and cutting the best from each to create ten stories. Every tale contains the right pieces of Vojtíšek and his co-authors, forming tightly stitched monsters that march directly towards you, each more terrifying than the last. The book contains ten stories written with, among others, Svatopluk Doseděl, Janko Iša, Martin Štefek, Kristina Haidingerová, Łukasz Radecki and Sylwia Błach, as well as one solo story. The foreword is written by translator and publisher Milan Žáček. The contents are in Czech and include “May It Be Granted to You,” “Inside,” “Dead Clowns Do Not Drink,” “In the Room,” “Let Me Out,” “We Who Walk the Shadows,” “Wipe Me,” “Funeral Blues,” “About the Little Boy Whose Bird Flew Away,” “Do Not Turn Out the Light,” and “Into Darkness.”
