Description
This Czech-language travelogue follows Pavlína Adam and her companion Sarah on a series of extraordinary adventures in South America. After completing the world’s most difficult long-distance trek, the two women climb Ojos del Salado, the world’s highest volcano at 6,893 metres. One high mountain is not enough, however, so they then carry out their own ambitious project, climbing six volcanoes over 6,000 metres in six days. Their challenge takes place in the Atacama Desert in Chile, one of the driest places on the planet. Pavlína’s entertaining account describes what can happen to two women travelling through the wild beauty of Chile, Ecuador, Bolivia and Peru. The contents are in Czech.
