This Czech-language book presents the rulers of the Kingdom of Bohemia in a concise, accessible and engaging style, covering each monarch’s basic biography, family, the most important events and personalities of their reign, and various points of interest. Particular attention is paid to portraits of the rulers from childhood through the end of their lives, supplemented by portraits of their wives and, where applicable, their children. The book also includes maps and coats of arms showing how the territory of the Lands of the Bohemian Crown gradually changed, as well as photographs or drawings of buildings constructed by individual kings where appropriate.
