Description
Sid Halley receives a call from his former friend Gary Bremner, a racehorse trainer who asks for help finding out who is threatening him. Sid has his own marital problems, however, and brushes off his old friend. The next morning, someone sets fire to Bremner’s stable and kills a horse, and Gary himself is later found dead. The police believe it is suicide, but Sid is not convinced. He begins investigating and soon discovers that he has become involved in a conspiracy threatening the very integrity of British horse racing. Can Sid uncover the truth before he becomes a victim too, while also saving his marriage?
