Hayholt Castle, once the famous stronghold of the Sith, now the capital of the kingdom of men, is besieged by the Norns, their sworn enemies, who begin to sow destruction. Yet, these are far from all the players in this grand finale, which Tad Williams masterfully concludes with his storytelling prowess in the series The Last King of East Ard.
