An adventurous book full of humor for children and their parents. Čeněk, an ordinary little boy, is going to the sea with his parents. There he meets Captain Adorable, a bounty hunter and collector of strange creatures, who sails his ship across the Seven Seas, a fairy-tale world full of islands. He is currently on the trail of the Laputák, the rarest creature of the Seven Seas. The captain takes Čeněk with him, but they regularly return to our world so that his parents don't become suspicious about where their son is disappearing. Čeněk discovers that many pieces of wisdom he picked up from his slightly eccentric parents can surprisingly be applied to the problems he encounters in the adventurous Seven Seas. It also turns out that the Laputák has a certain miraculous property that makes it the target of half the magical realm, and Čeněk and the captain must prevent it from falling into the wrong hands.
