The gripping story does not end, as might be expected, with the hero's death, but continues until the end of the 1950s. Although presented as a highly readable and suspenseful novel, the narrative is firmly grounded in exact historical sources and extensive notes. Many of the facts, findings and discoveries presented here appear for the first time. Historian and writer Jaroslav Čvančara and the leading contemporary expert on Morávek, Jiří Košař, also contributed to the book. The Czech recording features Ondřej Vetchý, Jiří Dvořák and Lukáš Hlavica, directed by Vlado Rusko.
