Description
This Czech-language book is a collection of twelve interviews with figures from Czech and international education about turning points in teaching and education. The interviewees place their answers in a broader historical context, reflecting on modernity, especially the progressive education movement at the turn of the 20th century, the period of the so-called socialist school, and developments after 1989, which receive the greatest attention. Current issues discussed include the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine. The dialogue with Tomáš Janík is conducted by Stanislav Štech, Petr Najvar, Dana Kasperová, Karel Rýdl, Wilfried Göttlicher, Štefan Porubský, Vladimíra Spilková, Eliška Walterová, Michal Kaplánek, Vladimír Jůva, Dag Hrubý and Petra Šobáňová.
