Description
Two years ago, Ferguson decided to say goodbye to his hectic lifestyle and has been living contentedly on the streets ever since. At least, that was the case until now. Everything is changing. While searching for a suitable shelter for the winter, he discovers the dead body of a young woman in a semi-collapsed warehouse. To his horror, he realizes that he is not alone at the crime scene, and worse, the murderer has been seen. He gets caught up in a cat-and-mouse game that forces him to leave his life as a vagabond and seek refuge with his aunt and uncle in the countryside. However, problems follow him even in the village, and when another corpse is discovered on a local farm, it becomes clear that he is in great danger. Time is running out, and Inspector Jess Campbell and Commissioner Ian Carter must once again join forces with a team of police officers in Bamford to piece together all the puzzle pieces before another innocent life is lost.
