Description
In a house by the walls of New Town in Prague, a vampire bites the throat of the respectable merchant Mareš from Košík and then calmly heads to the cemetery at Větrov before the eyes of witnesses. However, Mareš's neighbor is the daughter of an influential royal cook, and he turns to Jiří Adam of Dobronín for help. And since this is a complicated case, his wife Johanka, who recently proved herself during an investigation in Šumava, assists him. But the vampire strikes again, and terror sweeps through the city.
