Description

The Chronicle of the Decline of Europe (1984–2054) A unique novel tells the story of the Wagner family, who experience the gradual decline of European civilization. The novel is divided into two parts. The first, titled 'How It All Began,' describes the years 1984 – 2019 and is based on the real developments in the Czech Republic and Europe. The second part, 'How It Could End,' models, in the form of a literary vision, one of the possible developments of society after 2020. The founder of the family, Adam Wagner, a sociologist and expert on Orwell's work, predicts the collapse of modern society, and therefore, together with family members and friends, they build a protected residence, behind whose walls they intend to defend themselves when social disintegration, economic crisis, and violence occur. However, they are soon drawn into war conflicts that divide Europe. HOW IT ALL BEGAN AND HOW IT COULD END.
