Description
An old woman named Halla finds a gun in her garage in the middle of Reykjavik after her husband's death, which she takes to the police. When retired commissioner Konrád hears about it, he remembers that his father owned exactly such a weapon. Additionally, his colleague from the criminal police discovers through ballistic expertise that the deadly shot in an unsolved case came from this weapon. A man named Gardar was shot without apparent reason back then. Therefore, Konrád embarks on a private investigation to find out what connection his father had to this crime. One of the leads leads to Gústaf, a doctor serving a sentence for child abuse. Moreover, many years ago, Gústaf's and Konrád's paths crossed...
