Description
At the beginning of Advent, Jiří Adam of Dobronín arrives with his helpers, bachelor Petr and his wife Rozárka, at his estate in Vysočina, where he intends to rest during Christmas. But immediately upon arrival, he is sought out by an old woman who was once his wet nurse. She pleads for help because her grandson has gone missing. Jiří Adam of Dobronín soon finds his dead body in an abandoned mill. Memories begin to unfold before his eyes, as if he were returning to the time when he grew up in Dobronín. Even though it is Advent and Christians should be expecting the birth of the Lord, further murders occur, and death threatens him as well. Fortunately, he has his two devoted helpers.
