Description
In 1926, in Berlin, the body of a woman stabbed with a shard of red glass is found in the courtyard of a luxurious apartment building in Kreuzberg. Inspector Leo Wechsler immediately realizes at the crime scene that the dead woman is his former lover Marlen Dornow, whom he hasn't seen in years. He tells no one about his relationship with her, not even his wife Clara, and instead throws himself into the investigation. He discovers that Marlen was kept by wealthy men, most recently a politician who is a close associate of Foreign Minister Gustav Stresemann. Shortly thereafter, a second death occurs: Viktor König, a famous film director, was also stabbed with a shard of red glass...
