Description
The third part of the novel trilogy. For almost ten years, František Smolík has been separated from his family by the barbed wire of a prison. While Jarmila in Skláři has to manage the care of the family, constantly pursued by the communists, František slowly loses hope of ever being reunited. However, times are changing, and the atmosphere in society is beginning to relax. Political prisoners are gradually being released and returning to their homes. But the return to life is full of pitfalls, and old grievances cannot simply be forgotten. The impressive narrative takes us one last time to our heroes in the foothill village of Skláře.
