Description
Lukáš Trobl from Květnice, the son of a not particularly significant Czech family, returns to Bohemia after studying at the Protestant university in Heidelberg and applies for a position at the imperial court. To be honest, he devoted more time to studying fencing, in which he achieved considerable mastery, than to the study of dry sciences. In a small laboratory in Malá Strana, he gets into an argument with a Wallachian alchemist. Despite the imperial ban on duels, the men fight, and Lukáš lightly injures his opponent. The next morning, Lukáš is arrested because his opponent is found dead.
