Description
Inspector Benjamin Ross from Scotland Yard is summoned to Newgate prison by a man sentenced to death. Ben does not expect that he could believe the man's testimony. But the account of the murder this man witnessed sixteen years ago is so credible that Inspector Ross cannot help but wonder if there is a grain of truth in what the condemned man is saying.
