Description
An incredible story of courage, hope, and friendship. Hedy, a young Jewish woman who fled from Vienna to the tiny island of Jersey near the French coast, faces Nazi oppression once again. She decides to hide her origins and reluctantly accepts a position as a translator in a German military camp, where she devises her own form of resistance against the occupiers. Despite everything, she falls in love with a German officer, and what starts as a mere romance soon develops into a serious relationship upon which her life begins to depend. However, Hedy and her beloved are suspected by the secret police, forcing them to take increasingly desperate measures to escape capture and survive the war.
