Bohemka je a bude - Kniha první (1905-19 – Jenšík Miloslav (2025)

A renowned historian of Czech football and also an established author of non-fiction in other fields, holder of numerous prestigious awards, first made his mark in the history of one of the most famous Czech football clubs in 2005 with the anniversary publication "Zelenobílé století". The history of Prague's Klokani and their magical Ďolíček, which he has witnessed for more than seventy years, captivated him so much that he returned to it in a much more extensive form.
In the first part of the club's chronicle, which you now hold in your hands, the experienced author insightfully and compellingly guides the reader through the period from the club's birth, through years of victories and defeats, triumphs and falls, remarkable and dramatic stories, the journey of the green-and-white team along the paths of the football world, sometimes bordered by laurel and other times by thorns, up to the year 1973. At that time, Bohemians returned to the top domestic league after a three-year break and began a rise that culminated in the 1982/83 season with the conquest of the championship title and a great representation of our football in the UEFA Cup.
However, these great successes are recounted in the second book, which takes the reader to the finish of the 2021/22 league season.
