From the dark clouds that had been gathering over humanity for years, the blow finally fell. Most of the world's population succumbed to a deadly virus. An exceptionally strong series of electromagnetic pulses finished off the civilization writhing in agony. Most electronics were irreparably destroyed. State structures, police forces, armies, all of it collapsed. The world as we knew it ceased to exist.

Twenty-two years after these events, a lonely man sets out on a journey through a lawless land to gift his friend, residing at the foot of Blaník, with seeds of old varieties of Kokořín plums and non-hybrid carrots. But something keeps getting in his way. Something that needs to be pushed, cut, struck, or shot through an entire magazine.

A harsh science fiction novel from the grim era of humanity's twilight, where knives are never enough and where man's best friend is no longer a dog, but a reliable, well-oiled gun. And because weapons are dangerous toys, there will occasionally be a drop of blood.

You probably won't like this vision of the near future.
