Proměny Kafkovy Prahy – Kříž Jaroslav (2024)

The writer and Prague native Franz Kafka is considered one of the most influential literary figures of the last century. Although a hundred years have passed since his death, interest in his works remains strong. Kafka's novels and short stories still have much to say to the world, which is why this publication is being released on the occasion of the centenary as a tribute to the famous writer. The anthology of stories 'Transformations of Kafka's Prague' brings together twelve chapters by contemporary Czech authors across genres. These are stories thematically linked to Prague, where the reader will find themselves in both the past and the present, but will also glimpse into the sci-fi worlds of the future. Will it always be clear? Perhaps not. After all, that is part of Franz Kafka too. Perhaps we will encounter him directly in some story. Or will we only meet Mr. K.?
