Description
The study presents a comprehensive view of the development of Czech political party systems in the 19th and 20th centuries, within which the author places his reflections and perspectives on the historical social development in the territory of the Czech historical lands. Great attention is then given to the post-communist period, the transition from socialist statehood to democracy and market economy, the dissolution of Czechoslovakia into two independent states, and the formation of the Czech political scene. It is not only about searching for social, political, and social contexts, but the author also evaluates the development of Czech society and its political representation over the past decades, illuminating the factors of ongoing economic and moral crises and outlining possible perspectives for the development of Czech society.
