Description
Stela decides to make a radical change in her life and buys a dilapidated cottage in Smrková Tišina, a remote Šumava border village. Standing in complete isolation in a deserted forest, the cottage has a troubled history: its previous owner disappeared twenty years ago, and local people say the place is haunted. Stela does not believe the rumors, however, and full of enthusiasm she plans the renovation and becomes involved in life in Smrková Tišina. Her first trip to pick blueberries ends badly, and by accident Stela becomes entangled in a murder. She refuses to let her dream of living in seclusion be ruined and begins investigating the secrets of the region on her own. Not all the locals welcome her, although the policeman Petr does, and he joins her in delving into the tangled case. The contents are in Czech.
