Description
With a pinch of salt and a broom, Jane Airova drives all evil out. Carrying suitcases full of potions and medicines, she sets out one fresh, bright October morning to face a challenge unlike anything she has encountered at the school for orphaned girls. A shadow hangs over Thornfield, as it does over Edward Rochester, its solitary master, and Rochester has hired Jane as a last resort. Jane struggles to find common ground with her prickly new employer, but gradually it becomes clear that this is the least of her problems—the greater threat is a mysterious force preventing her from doing her work. The dangers surrounding both Jane and Rochester continue to multiply, while Rochester seems more interesting and attractive to her with every passing day. She begins to fear that her knowledge of herbs and magic will not be enough to save the man who is growing ever dearer to her from a threat darker and more dangerous than either of them could have imagined.
