Skleněný dům – Pekkanen Sarah (2026)

Nine-year-old Rose Barclay has witnessed her nanny’s death, and the trauma has left her unable to speak. Her parents are locked in a bitter divorce battle, and the court appoints Stella Hudson as Rose’s guardian ad litem, whose assessment will determine which parent receives custody. Stella normally refuses clients under thirteen because of her own traumatic childhood, but a close friend and respected judge believes she is the only person who can help the girl. After passing through the iron gates of the Barclay estate and entering their lavish villa, Stella begins to suspect that the case is far more complicated than it appears. Even the house itself, which contains not a single piece of glass, has something dark and ominous about it. As Stella uncovers disturbing facts the family is desperately trying to hide, danger begins to close in around her. Helping the mute girl also forces Stella to confront her own past. Everyone is suspected of the nanny’s murder: Rose’s mother, father and disabled grandmother, and even Rose herself. Is the child Stella is meant to protect actually a dangerous psychopath from whom Stella must protect herself? The contents are in Czech.
