Description
When a popular police officer from Kilmarnock is beaten to death in his own home, everything initially suggests that a robbery went wrong. But when his colleague is killed while on duty, it becomes clear that something far more sinister is happening: someone is deliberately murdering police officers. Inspector Heather Filson, whose life is made difficult by an insufferable new colleague and a teenager obsessed with true crime, must track down the brutal killer before tensions between the police and the public end in catastrophe. Riots and street fights have already broken out in Glasgow, and catching the murderer is not enough—the violence threatening Scotland’s largest city must also be stopped. The book is in Czech.
