Description
One very early June morning, the mother superior discovers the murdered nun Sister Paola in an alleyway in front of the convent. A team led by Commissioner Gavin Desmond, including Inspector Sofia Gardererová and forensic doctor Simeon Livingston, soon arrives at the crime scene, beginning a complex search for the murderer and the motive behind the murder, which takes them to various locations, from a gay club to the royal office and the academic community.
During the investigation, they also deal with their personal lives; while Sofia flourishes after the departure of her previous boss, Gavin struggles in an unsatisfactory relationship with his neighbor Irena. After meeting Gavin's brother Gordon, Simeon hesitates whether he still has the courage to fall in love, and we also meet the second brother of the commissioner, violinist Garrett, who ultimately leads Gavin and Sofia to the right clue.
However, the search will not be easy. It seems that finding someone who had a reason to kill the quiet girl will be challenging. Or was Sister Paola not as innocent as she appeared?
