Description
Charlie lives alone and works at her father’s company. She has no ideal relationship with him, her sister or her grandmother, and grew up without her mother. Her relationships with men are no more successful: she has ended a long-distance relationship and occasionally goes out with someone, but love never comes. Generous and capable, Charlie feels she must make a fundamental change in her life. She needs to focus on herself, stop adapting to everyone else and stop trying to please them all. She wants to break free from her family’s influence and become independent. She nostalgically remembers a young man she used to meet one week in the evenings at a bistro, though he never appeared again. With him, she was able to be honest and open. Now he suddenly turns up at her father’s company and is to become her direct superior. Will he recognize her after all this time? Does he remember her? Will life give them a second chance?
