Stačí přežít září – Orlando Carissa (2025)

Everything has its rules. Everything can be managed. Everything is cyclical. These principles guide the adaptable and resourceful Margaret Hartman throughout her life. She firmly believes that anything can be survived: even a nightmare of a Victorian house full of ghosts, in which she is determined to create a home for herself and her husband despite everything. For eleven months of the year, this is not a problem. Until September arrives.

Every September, the house bleeds from its walls, nights are filled with terrible screams, ghosts swarm everywhere, and the worst evil hidden in the basement awakens. Margaret's husband Hal gives up before the fourth September and leaves, but Margaret stays. This is her house, and she is not going anywhere. However, after Hal, it seems as if he has vanished without a trace.

The Hartmans' daughter Katherine arrives home, determined to search for her father. Margaret tries to hide from her what is happening in the house, just as she has spent her whole life trying to conceal her father's violent outbursts.

But September has just begun, and the haunting is intensifying...
