Description
Bryan and Ellie Stockton hope to escape their old demons by moving to a new idyllic home in southern West Virginia. Above all, they long for a fresh start for their son Derrick, who witnessed the tumultuous early years of their marriage marked by substance abuse, anger, and immense resentment. However, their hopeful prospects suddenly darken when a child from their neighborhood goes missing without a trace. The couple begins to suspect their reclusive neighbor, who suffers from a degenerative brain disorder. Strange things start happening in their home, and Derrick tells them about a new friend who visits him at night. He might just be making it up due to the trauma he experienced, but he might also have become the target of something much more sinister that lurks and waits to strike.
