Description
Kinch Na Shannack owes his thieving education to the guild of rogues, which includes, among other things, lock picking, knife fighting, wall climbing, lying, trap making, and a few easier spells. In an effort to repay the guild his debt, he lurks by an old forest path, preparing to rob another traveler who crosses his path. This time, however, Kinch Na Shannack has chosen the wrong target. The knight Galva survived the brutal goblin wars and is a servant of the goddess of death. She is searching for her queen, who has been missing since the city far to the north fell into the hands of giants. Although Kinch escapes unscathed from his failed robbery attempt, he soon encounters Galva again. Ordinary enemies and extraordinary dangers accompany the thief and the knight on a challenging journey, where goblins hunger for human flesh, krakens hunt in dark waters, and honor is a luxury that few can afford.
