Description
Harriet and Wyn met in college and have been the perfect couple ever since. They fit together like salt and pepper, honey and tea, spread and bread roll. Except that they don't fit together quite so well anymore – for reasons they don't discuss. Five months ago, they broke up. And they haven't told their families or best friends. And when it's time for the annual vacation with friends, they have to sleep in the same bedroom of a luxurious summer house in Maine, where everyone has been going for almost ten years. The 'cabin' vacation used to be a retreat for Harriet from the real world, where she could forget her everyday worries for a wonderful, carefree week and enjoy wine, the presence of her best friends, the atmosphere of a seaside town, and the salty air. The cabin is a place where she feels good... And it holds more than enough intimate, important memories for her. This year, however, the vacation is an exhausting theater for friends who have no idea about the breakdown of Harriet and Wyn's relationship. They both agreed to wait with the unpleasant news so as not to spoil the exceptional week for others. Pretending to be in a relationship with someone you lived with for eight years must be a piece of cake...
