The next part of the story takes us to the end of the 1920s. Frieda is very happy; her wedding is approaching rapidly, and her chocolate factory is enjoying increasing success. It seems she has finally carved out her place in the family business office. ***** However, when her first love from her youth unexpectedly reappears after a very long time, Frieda becomes uncertain and questions everything she has always believed. Her search for personal happiness quickly takes a backseat when the Nazis come to power, and the life of her best friend, Jewish Klára, is suddenly in danger. ***** Per received an engagement gift from his parents and bought a house on Elbchaussee with it. They actually wanted to finally set a wedding date with Frieda – but something always got in their way. Then, out of the blue, Jason, her great love whom she had been waiting for, appears before her. She hasn't seen him since he left Hamburg to continue running the family tea office overseas. ***** Frieda realizes and feels that there is still too much unsaid between them and the circumstances of their relationship were not clarified, making it difficult for her to start her new life with Per. But will her fiancé understand this?
