Description
After Anni's beloved grandmother passes away, Anni, her brother, and other family members gather at Metsan Valo, the family estate on an island in Lake Hořejší, to learn about her last will. Anni fondly remembers her grandmother's spooky yet captivating tales of mysterious beings that inhabit the surrounding forests and the lake, capable of helping or harming people as they please. However, once Anni steps into Metsan Valo, inexplicable things begin to happen. She feels increasingly that the old house in the middle of the woods, which had once been their safe haven, has mysteriously changed and is sending out warning signals. As they read the last will, the tension among Anni's relatives escalates significantly. But unrest is not only present in the house. The nearby forest is filled with whispering voices, at night a swarm of fireflies erupts from it, and at other times, terrifying apparitions appear. And when further tragic events befall Anni's family, she must quickly uncover who is threatening her loved ones and why.
