Description
Detective Tracy Crosswhite from the homicide department returns to the police after a sensational retrial of her sister's murderer. Still haunted by this trauma, Tracy is drawn into an investigation that threatens to end her career, if not her life. A serial killer known as the Cowboy is murdering young women in cheap motels in northern Seattle. Even after a stalker leaves Crosswhite a threatening message suggesting that the killer or his imitator might target her personally, this police officer is tasked with bringing the murderer to justice. With few leads and an increasing number of victims, Tracy realizes that the key to solving the murders may lie in a ten-year-old investigation of a murder that others, including her captain Johnny Nolasca, would prefer to leave closed.
