Konzultant – Little Bentley (2022)

After the collapse of a planned merger, CompWare finds itself in serious trouble, so it hires a consulting firm to review and streamline its business practices. However, there is something strange about the firm that CompWare hires. More specifically – the strange gentleman who comes to manage the requested project. Mr. Patoff, a tall, thin man with a bow tie and a peculiar smile that his eyes do not participate in. Even during the first joint meetings, the consultant occasionally asks inappropriate questions and is generally annoying. Gradually, he usurps more and more power, until it seems that he is running the entire business himself. He arbitrarily implements invasive changes to corporate etiquette; he places cameras throughout the building, causing paranoia among employees; he calls employees at night; he even visits some at home and threatens their families... Those who resist are fired... or worse. Employees soon realize that they are not just fighting for their jobs: they are fighting for their lives. The Consultant is a scathing satire of the workplace dressed in a horror cloak, as only Bentley Little can do.
